Micky Dolenz is an American musician and actor, born in 1945. He is best known as the drummer and one of the lead vocalists of the pop-rock band The Monkees, as well as a star of the television series "The Monkees." The group achieved massive success in the 1960s with hits like "I'm a Believer" and "Last Train to Clarksville." Following the death of Michael Nesmith on December 10, 2021, Dolenz became the last surviving member of the band. His contributions to pop and rock music, as well as his role in shaping the music-television crossover, remain significant.
