Luke Bryan is an American country singer and songwriter born in 1976. Before launching his solo career, he worked as a songwriter. Since his debut album in 2007, all seven of his studio albums have achieved gold or platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America. Over 20 singles from these albums have topped the Billboard Hot Country Songs and US Country Airplay charts. His multi-platinum albums, "Crash My Party" and "Kill the Lights", also reached number one on the Billboard 200. In 2012, he won the American Music Award for Best Country Artist.
