Lil Keke is an American rapper from Houston, Texas, born in 1976. A key figure in the Southern hip-hop scene, he is best known as a member of the legendary Screwed Up Click, a collective founded by DJ Screw. His 1997 hit single "Southside" became a defining anthem of Houston rap. Over the years, Lil Keke has released numerous albums, including "Don't Mess Wit Texas" and "Loved by Few, Hated by Many". His contributions to the chopped-and-screwed subgenre have solidified his status as a pioneer in Southern hip-hop.
