Лес Клейпул (full name: Лесли Эдуард Клейпул ) is an American bass guitarist and vocalist born in 1963. He is best known as the frontman of the alternative rock band Primus . His unique bass playing style combines elements of heavy funk with virtuosic technique. In 2011, Rolling Stone magazine included him in its list of the best bass guitarists of all time, and in 2020, he was ranked 36th on the same publication's list of the 50 greatest bassists.
