Joseph Williams is an American singer, songwriter, and film score composer born on September 1, 1960. He is best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Toto, a role he held from 1986 to 1988 and resumed in 2010. The son of actress Barbara Ruick and renowned film composer John Williams, Joseph Williams has also contributed to film soundtracks, including providing the singing voice for adult Simba in Disney's 1994 animated classic "The Lion King." His work with Toto includes hits like "Pamela" and "Stop Loving You." Williams has left a lasting mark on rock music and film scoring.
