Jason Weaver is an American actor and singer born in 1979. Known for his roles as Marcus Henderson in the WB sitcom "Smart Guy" and Jerome Turrell in the short-lived ABC sitcom "Thea" (1993-1994), he gained further recognition portraying a young Michael Jackson in the 1992 miniseries "The Jacksons: An American Dream." As a singer, he provided the singing voice of young Simba in Disney's 1994 animated classic "The Lion King." In 2004, he featured on Chingy's hit single "One Call Away," which peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100. His contributions to soul and pop music, as well as his acting, have left a lasting impact on American entertainment.
