José Mercé (real name Хосе Сото Сото ) is a Spanish flamenco singer, born on April 19, 1955, in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. He showed a talent for flamenco from an early age, beginning to perform at festivals at the age of 12. In 1968, he moved to Madrid, where he recorded his first album. José Mercé has collaborated with leading musicians of the genre and released over 20 albums, including such acclaimed works as "Del Amanecer" and "Aire" His work has significantly contributed to the popularization of flamenco, making it accessible to a wider audience.
