Joe Elliott (Joseph Thomas Elliott) is a British singer, musician, and songwriter, born in 1959 in the United Kingdom. He is best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Def Leppard , one of the most successful bands in the hard rock and glam metal genres. Def Leppard released such iconic albums as "Pyromania" and "Hysteria" , including the hits "Pour Some Sugar on Me" and "Love Bites" In addition to the main band, Joe also plays in the cover band Down 'n' Outz , performing songs Mott the Hoople . His contribution to the development of rock music has made him an iconic figure in the genre.
