Phil Collen is a British musician born on December 8, 1957. He is best known as the lead guitarist for the rock band Def Leppard , one of the most successful bands in the hard rock genre. Phil Collen joined the band in 1982, replacing guitarist Pete Willis , and has since become a key figure in creating their signature sound.
