Илья Лагутенко is a Soviet and Russian rock musician, singer, and poet, born on October 16, 1968, in Vladivostok, Russia. He is the frontman of the band «Мумий Тролль» , which has become one of the most influential in Russian rock music. An orientalist by training, Lagutenko is also known for his active stance on tiger conservation, representing Russia in the International Coalition for Tiger Conservation. Among «Мумий Тролля» most famous songs are "Утекай" and "Владивосток 2000" . His contribution to the development of Russian rock music and the cultural scene remains significant.
