Георг Фридрих Гендель (also known as George Frideric Handel) was a German-born composer, born in 1685 in Halle, Germany. He is renowned for his contributions to the Baroque era, particularly in the genres of opera, oratorio, and instrumental music. After moving to England, he became a naturalized British citizen and composed some of his most famous works, including the oratorio "Messiah" and the orchestral suite "Water Music". His music has had a lasting influence on classical music and is celebrated for its dramatic expression and melodic richness.
