France Gall (real name Изабель Женевьев Мари Анн Галль ) was a French pop singer born on October 9, 1947. She began her career in 1963 and quickly gained popularity, releasing several hits. In 1965, France Gall won the Евровидение Song Contest representing Luxembourg with the song "Poupée de cire, poupée de son" . After a decline in popularity in the late 1960s, her career was revived in 1974 through a collaboration with composer Мишелем Берже . Over the next two decades, she remained one of the leading figures in the French pop scene. France Gall made a significant contribution to the development of pop music in France.
