Eumir Deodato (also known as Эумир Деодато or Эмир Деодато ) is a Brazilian composer, pianist, arranger, and producer born in 1943. His work spans the genres of pop jazz and crossover jazz. Deodato is widely known for his arrangements and interpretations of classical works, such as "Also Sprach Zarathustra" (2001), which earned him a Grammy Award. He has collaborated with artists such as Frank Sinatra , Roberta Flack , and Earth, Wind & Fire . His contribution to jazz music includes popularizing the crossover jazz genre and creating unique arrangements that remain relevant today.
