Brad Mehldau (full name: Брэдфорд Александр Мелдау ) is an American jazz pianist, composer, and arranger, born on August 23, 1970. He received his musical education at Новой школе in New York City, where he began touring and recording while still a student. Mehldau is known for his solo albums and his work with Brad Mehldau Trio . Among his best-known recordings are the albums "Art of the Trio" and "Largo" His work combines jazz improvisation with elements of classical music, making him a significant figure in contemporary jazz.
