Baden Powell was a Brazilian guitarist born in 1937. He was a master of combining classical guitar techniques with elements of bossa nova, samba, and Brazilian jazz. In 1966, he released the album Os Afro-sambas a collaboration with poet Винисиусом де Мораесом , which became a landmark in the MPB genre.
