Axwell (real name Axel Christofer Hedfors ) is a Swedish DJ, producer, and musician, born in 1977. He is known as one half of Swedish House Mafia collective and the owner of the Axtone label. His work spans the genres of dance music, electronica, and house. In 2011, Axwell ranked 12th in DJ Magazine Magazine's Top 100 DJ Poll .
