Their debut album, "Stars of CCTV", released in 2005, was critically acclaimed and earned a nomination for the Mercury Prize. The album featured hits like "Hard to Beat" and "Cash Machine". Hard-Fi is celebrated for their contribution to the indie rock revival of the 2000s, combining sharp lyrics with energetic melodies.
