Man, we go together like peaches and cream.

She’s a part of my heart like an artery, and we live together in harmony.

But, inevitably, things start to be less magical, not as sparkly.

We fight more and laugh less heartily,

I stopped shaving and she pees with the door open.

But as soon as we spot the root that we’re in,

My dear Jen gets her butt in gear then she packs a bag,

Gives me a goodbye high-five and she drives off in the RV in the driveway.

Yeah, she takes a trip and she doesn’t return til we’re ready to rebuild the

relationship.

Recreate it so it’s precious and meaningful;

That’s why it’s called a recreational vehicle.

Might be gone for a month and she might go bonkers.
