Sumuisten kattojen yllä kiertelevät lintuparvet

Kirkuvat kuin tappiota, tappiotako tarkoittaa

Sumu painaa valot alas, alas myös mustat parvet

Korvat särkee, kynnet raapii auki tuoreet haavat

Siivet lepattaa

Eivät kanna omat siivet ilmaa

Ilmavirrat auta nousemaan

Sumu sentään ohjaa oikeaan suuntaan

Kohti reunaa kulkemaan

Pian katoaa

Parveen sakeaan

Siivet lepattaa

Yötä myöten sumu alkaa vähitellen kaikota

Tienoo on hiljennyt, vain tuulen heikon humina

Vasten taivaanrantaa katsoa voi jos uskaltaa

Nähdä voi varjot pahan ilman tuojien

Yhä siivet lepattaa
