Warum soll mein Herz aus tausend Wunden bluten?

Warum liegst du jetzt so blass auf diesem Lager?

Warum muß ich mit diesen Qualen zahlen?

Warum all die vielen Jahre dieser Hohn?

Sang ich auch das Lied der Vagabunden

So war ich immer noch dein Sohn

Ein dunkler kalter Einfaltskerker?
