В древние дни великанов

Поднял король на восстание

Сбросили гнет Йотунхейма оков

И нарушили волю богов, но Молний могучий метатель

Троллей коварных сразил

Бурей ярких зарниц

Обратил он врагов

В мертвый камень на веки веков.

Мидгарда дети забыли о силе

Заклятых в камне королей —троллей

Вековой покой людьми нарушен

И уж им недолго спать —

Гневом налитые, мощью разбуженной

С кряжей гривы леса скинув

И воздев над головой мечи и скалы

Встанет горных троллей рать!
