Una vez oí contar

Una historia que había

En un cuento

Al canto alegre del hombre

Que es como el sol

Una lluvia cayó y mi alma

Creyó ese cuento

Que habíoa traído sólo

Una ilusión

De este sueño grande

Que llevo dentro

Al principio creí

Que una estrella brillaba

De vida

Que no hacía falta la noche

Para ver su luz

Una historia de amor

Ilusión y ternura

Tan sólo el poeta sabe

Que esa noche lloró

Porque el firmamento sabe

Que esa estrella murió

A story that was

in a story
