Manchmal ist einfach alles ätzend

Obwohl es kaum nen Anlass gibt

Man wird dann unfair und verletzend

Zu den Menschen die man liebt

Wenn sie dann leiden wird’s noch schlimmer

Obwohl man längst alles bereut

Man sitzt danach allein im Zimmer

Weil’s nichts mehr gibt was einen freut

Es gibt einfach Tage

Da fühl' ich mich eingeengt

Dann kommt es vor das ich sage

Was man eigentlich nur denkt

Da könnte ich mich verschlagen

Und es tut mir schrecklich leid

Doch es hilft nichts das zu sagen

Verzeihen kostet Zeit

Ich hab' mir selber geschadet

Durch mein Verhalten, meine Wut

Ich hab' im Selbsthass gebadet

Und es geht mir nicht mehr gut

Versuch mich selber zu verstehen

Und komm auf keinen grünen Zweig

Sich seine Fehler eingestehen

Dass kostet auch 'ne Menge Zeit

Es gibt einfach Tage

Da fühl' ich mich eingeengt

If they suffer then it will be even worse

Although you have long since regretted everything

Afterwards you sit alone in the room

Because there is nothing more that makes you happy

There are just days

I feel restricted there

Then it happens that I say

What you actually think

I could get lost there

And I'm terribly sorry

But it doesn't help to say that

Forgiveness takes time

I have harmed myself

Through my behavior, my anger

I bathed in self-loathing

And I'm not feeling well anymore

Try to understand myself

And come on no green branch

admit your mistakes

That also takes a lot of time

There are just days

I feel restricted there
