Snöyran tjuter över dvärgstugan

Så hemtrevlig och varm inuti

Trevlig groggryta

På härden står

Lilla fönstret lyser

Under ekroten

Min underjordiska stuga

I vinterskog

Den trevligaste vinterkvällen

Jag röker min pipa

Lyfter min trämugg

Oroar mig inte för varelsen

Som fryser av stormen i skog

I morgon kommer jag ut med min spade

Vi ska gräva upp frusna lik

Jag bär dem under rötterna

Små köttbullar att forma

The snow eagle howls over the dwarf cottage

So homely and warm inside

Nice grogryta

On the hearth stands

The small window lights up

Under the ekroten

My underground cabin

In winter forest

The nicest winter evening

I smoke my pipe

Lifts my wooden mug
