Погружение - Странные игры

Песок прибрежный чист и тонок,

Прибой умолк, осела муть,

И вдаль поплыл я, как утёнок,

И не боялся утонуть.

Но водоплавающей птицей

Недолго был я: рыбой стал,

Чтобы в пучину погрузиться,

Скользнуть в расщелину меж скал.

И вот с моей роднёй подводной

Я повстречался в глубине.

Они там плавают свободно

И снисходительны ко мне.

Они меня не строго судят,

И превосходен там пейзаж…

Но должен всплыть я.

Будь, что будет:

Я снова вылезу на пляж.

The coastal sand is clean and thin,

The surf fell silent, the dregs settled,

And I swam into the distance like a duckling,

And I wasn't afraid to drown.

But a waterfowl

I was not long: I became a fish,

To plunge into the abyss,

Slip into a crevice between rocks.

And here with my underwater relatives

I met in the depths.

They swim there freely.

And indulgent towards me.

They don't judge me harshly

And the landscape there is excellent ...

But I must come up.
