Die Teufelsbuhle - Stillste Stund

Unschuld weiß davon nicht, doch neulich Nacht sah ich sie sich wie auf

Katzenpfoten davonstehlen, als sie uns alle schlafend wähnte

Ich folgte ihr mit ebenso leisen Schritten bis hin zu einem seltsamen Brunnen

Sie stieg über die Mauer und glitt hinunter.

Ich dachte nicht weiter darüber

nach und kletterte ihr hinterher

Ich folgte ihr hinunter in die Dunkelheit.

Unbemerkt immer tiefer in die

Dunkelheit…

Je tiefer ich kletterte, desto unangenehmer wurde die Luft, bis es schließlich

nahezu unerträglich wurde

Mit großer Erleichterung konnte ich irgendwann endlich Boden unter meinen Füßen

spüren.

Die Steine waren feucht

Die Luft war stickig und so drückend warm, dass mir beinahe die Sinne schwanden.

Ich musste mich zusammenreißen

Benommen folgte ich weiter einem niedrigen Gang und Unschulds Silhouette,

die ich jetzt nur noch vage vor mir vermuten konnte…

The deeper I climbed, the more uncomfortable the air became, until finally

became almost unbearable

It was with great relief that I finally found my feet on the ground

sense.

The stones were damp

The air was stuffy and so oppressively warm that I almost lost my senses.

I had to pull myself together

Dazed I continued to follow a low corridor and innocence's silhouette

which I could now only vaguely guess ahead of me...
