ganz groß und ich war noch ganz klein.

Ich dachte mir ganz weit da oben

da muß doch der Himmel sein.

ein alter Mann nahm mich an der Hand

und sagte: «Kind bleib hier

bleib hier.»

Ich hab' geweint

den Himmel versäumt

da sagte er zu mir:

Es gibt tausend kleine Himmel, die man leicht erreichen kann, wenn du einen davon

findest, dann geht ein Lichtlein wird hell in deinem Herzen, laß das Glück ganz

tief hinein.

Und hast du mal ein paar Sorgen, sei nicht traurig, glaub' an gibt

tausend kleine Himmel, einer reicht zum Glücklichsein.
