Hayat toz pembe olsa kesin renk körü olurdum

Doktor bana bakıp eserinle gurur duy

Güzel cümleler bekleme büyülenip

Ben yalan söyleyecek kadar büyümedim

22'sine kadar iyi biriydim

Sonradan öldüm

Ama iyi biriydim

Fazla abartıyorlar nefes almayı falan

Dedim: «İyi bilirdim»

Hepinizden daha içten gülerdim oysa

Benim suçum yok siyahtan saklanamıyorsam

Bi' şey diycem ama

Mutluluk muazzamdır bitinceye kadar!

Yarın geç olacak bugün gülmemiz gerekir!

Bugün gülmüyorsak, kesin dün kalp temizledik

Hayat basitti ellerimden tutmasaydı

Keşke mutlu etmeyi unutmasaydım…

Ben bir dala tutundum, o dal kırıldı

Ağaç bana niye küstün anlamadım?

Ben bi' ağaç yüzünden gidip tüm ormanı yaktım

Birçok kötülüğüm dokundu en büyüğü bu…

Bunu hak etmedin ama hak edenler mutlu!

Neden kötü biriyim ben bile unuttum

Ve artık cam gibi değil kan gibiyim;

parçalansam kırılmıyorum

Keşke diyebilseydim: «Gel terk edelim!»

Hala biliyorken saçının her telini…
