Looking back upon this life I’ve been living

I’ve been a Very Bad Man, a cheating thief, and a liar

I’ve required your decency, while I break all my rules

All of you who’ve been so sweet to me, I’ve played you like fools

Inside of this sheep’s hide, a scared and arrogant kid

I’ve never meant to hurt you, I’ve just never cared if I did

So now I write this song of regrets, I’ve more than a few

And I will right these wrongs and repent before all of you

To all of my family, and my ex’s, and my fans, and my friends

I can change, I can apologize, it’s time to make amends
