Ich stehe ratlos

Wie vor Jahren schon

Erneut gab ich

Auf mich nicht Acht

Vor einem Scherbenhaufen

Spott und Hohn:

Ich hab den einen Fehler

Einmal mehr gemacht

Schafft mich weit weg von hier

In der ein anderer als ich

Am Fenster die Wacht

Ich seh die Krähen

Am Himmel vorüberziehn

Und wünschte, ich könnte

Dem Schicksal entfliehn

Von meinen Händen

Rinnen Pech und Blut

Ich war zum Unheil

Stets verdammt

Auf meinen Wegen

Hat des Zornes Glut mir

Unzählige Schwerter durch mein

Stolzes Herz gerammt

So kommt, ihr Krähen

Nehmt mich mit Euch mit, ich

Verlange nach mehr als dem Tod

Ich will Unendlichkeit

Ohne dessen Klang mir

Schlimmeres als

Aller Höllen Feuer droht

Eins, zwei, jetzt ist es vorbei

Drei, vier, nimmer mehr bei Dir

Fünf, sechs, mit Erde bedecks

Sieben, acht, hab es umgebracht

Neun, zehn, kann die Krähen sehen
