Man entkam ihnen nicht, doch später erst wurde mir klar

Und manchmal stand sie da und das war jede Kelle wert

Jeden Schlag von Dietmar hätt' ich besser abgewehrt

Als den Blick von ihr, den sie mir zum Abschied rüberwarf

Und auf der Abkürzung sang ich lauthals in den Wald hinein

Und ich hoffte, dass es wenigstens noch Nachtisch für mich gäb
