Und von meiner Ecke aus

Betrachte ich 'n Blumenstrauß

Voller Vergissmeinnicht

Die mich an nichts erinnern

Und ich schließe meine Augen

Damit du mich nicht siehst

Über mir die Trauben

Hängen so unerreichbar tief

Bin fast erstickt

In deiner Atempause

In der du wähntest mich zu kennen

Und du folgtest mir nach Hause

Festen Fußes in mein Luftschloss

Full of forget-me-nots

That remind me of nothing

And I close my eyes

so you don't see me

Above me the grapes

Hanging so unreachably low

I almost choked

In your respite

In which you thought you knew me

And you followed me home

Firm foot in my castle in the air

A flame drips

Watching from my corner
