Помню запах её в тишине.

Ни шагу назад сквозь ветер и дождь,

Мы были одни на земле!

Багровый закат предвещал славный бой —

Там каждый свой долг выполнял.

Но мы ошибались то был не долг,

А прихоть твоя, генерал!!!
