Гора Голгофа.

Вижу три креста.

(Замри, душе, доколе окаянна?)

А посреди — распятого Христа.

У ног — Святая Дева с Иоанном.

И тот, что слева, над Христом глумясь,

В своих неправдах Бога обвиняя,

Сказал, с богоубийцами сроднясь:

— Коль Ты — Христос, спаси Себе и наю.

Но тот, что справа, запретил ему:

— Или твоя душа Творца не знает?

За наше зло нам мало этих мук,

А Этот же, скажи, за что страдает?

О, бывший тать, о нынешний святой,

Всё зло своё перечеркнул немногим:

Перед безумной воющей толпой

Ты исповедал Страждущего — Богом.

О ты, который с Господом терпел,

О, покаяньем вырванный из ада!

Одна лишь правда ожила в тебе,

Что полон был ты всяческой неправды.

И в этот миг, последний крестный миг,

Ты оправдал поруганного Бога,

И капля правды, перевесив мир,

Ввела под своды райского чертога.

О, Боже мой, распятый как злодей,

Тебе, Тебе с Отцем и Духом Слава!

Своим Крестом Ты разделил людей

На тех, кто слева, и на тех, кто справа.

Гора Голгофа, Пасхи Колыбель,

Шепчу одно неверными устами:

— Душе моя, помысли о себе,

Душе моя, душе, куда мы станем?

О Мати Света, не остави нас,

Взыщи мене, Единая Отрадо.

Да оживёт во мне хоть в смертный час

Разбойничья спасительная правда.

Mount Calvary.

I see three crosses.

(Freeze, soul, how long are you cursed?)

And in the middle is the crucified Christ.

At the feet is the Holy Virgin with John.

And the one on the left, mocking Christ,

Blaming God for their untruths,

He said, becoming related to the godslayers:

- If You are Christ, save Yourself and Naya.

But the one on the right forbade him:

"Or does your soul not know the Creator?"

For our evil, these torments are not enough for us,

And this one, tell me, what is he suffering for?

Oh, former thief, oh current saint,

He crossed out all his evil to a few:

Before the crazy howling crowd

You confessed the Suffering One as God.

O you who endured with the Lord,

Oh, torn out of hell by repentance!

Only one truth came alive in you

That you were full of all sorts of lies.

And at this moment, the last moment of the cross,

You justified the desecrated God,

And a drop of truth, outweighing the world,

Brought under the arches of the heavenly palace.

Oh my God, crucified like a villain

Glory to You, to You with the Father and the Spirit!

With Your Cross You divided the people

For those on the left and those on the right.

Mount Calvary, Easter Cradle,

I whisper one thing with false lips:

- My soul, think about yourself,

My soul, my soul, where shall we go?

O Mother of Light, do not leave us,

Seek me, United Joy.

May it come to life in me even at the hour of death

Robber saving truth.
