Der Blick in warmes Morgenrot

Blutjunge Knospen, die wie grüner Nebel Bäume kleiden

Das alles ist vertan, verlor’n

Die Sonne blind

Es lahmt der Wind

Die grünen Nebel sind erfror’n

Der Blick auf Äcker, satt und weit

Die ersten Vögel, die die Welt, die vor uns liegt, begrüßen

Mit einem Mal kein Singen mehr

Der Morgen stumm

Die Äste krumm

Von kalten Vogelleibern schwer

Der Blick auf Ufer sanft und reich

Handwarmes Salz, das Spuren lenkt im Sand neuer Gestade

Das alles war ein kühner Traum

Das Neuland bricht

Der Schein erlischt

Den Puls des Lebens stört es kaum

Weil dieser Puls, weil jedes Jahr

Nichts weiter als nur Glaube war

Doch Glaube ohne Morgenrot ist weiter nichts als Hoffen

Und wen, das fragt das müde Herz

Und wen soll das noch kümmern
