Un pas adînc, cerul deschide

Și-n hăul de dedesubt

M-arunc, și soarele mă prinde

Cum munții se răsun', şoimii se adun'

Codrii se trezesc, frunzele șoptesc

Oasele trosnesc, stelele sclipesc, și în cale se opresc, măi!

Na mesa de doi lai munți

Împlini de arbori fără frunzi

Între pietre nearse de soare

În lemne neroditoare

Lângă tăul fără fund

Cu toiag despic cărare

Ce mă poartă-n hău de naltă zare

Țes soarele-n cămașă, în ață fermecată

Chibzuită și trufașă, cu gând drept legată

Ieși soare din soare

Ieși soare spurcat, ieși soare necurat

Și cu mândră soră lună

Leagă cunună, cunună legată

De horă și soare, din cer până în zare

De dincolo dă cer

Dinapoi de lună

Din afar' de soare

Dintr-odată am făcut

Înc-o lume nouă

Din nimic!
