Cînd zo­rile se varsă

În față-mi se întinde zarea

Un fir de cer văzduhul

Un soi de nor mi-e starea

Soarele-i spin, spinu-i des­tin

Sădesc un pom, din ram de soare rodi­toare

Soare sur mă lu­minează

Soare sec mă-ngălbenește

Lume ne­lu­mită, de dor pusti­ită

Nor de dor în om de pom

Cer mis­ter, mis­ter din ochi de cer

Ce prin pământ se cern

Văile și apele, munții și pădurile

Mis­ter de-adînc de cer

Din cer, trei rădăcini răsar din nori, coboară

Și în pămînt, trei cren­gi se-mpămînte­nesc

Și atun­ci… ce-a fost

Din cer mândru, lu­cios

Om mare, vânjos

Ar­bore întors pe dos

Din firul lu­minii prins-a rădăcină

Om și ar­bore ales, pe-o cădere lină

Semne, tălmăciri, s-aprind de înțeles

Foc de rouă, ful­ger din spini

Cu limbă de moarte

Pe-o culme de nor

Înarborat mă-ntorc

Și Om, și Pom
