I had a memory of my face hitting the concrete

I think I was only two.

I’ve got the scar still for proof

It’s overwhelming when the time comes for me to hide my feelings

I know I’ll probably surrender.

I know how much that would kill her

I had a lover

She danced amongst the fog like she was warm blood

She told me I was hers and I said gladly, and that’s about the time she knew

she had me

She was vicious

A human sized snake, I was constricted

She hurt me that’s the truth

But she looked a lot like you

I didn’t know you wanted to meet God that bad

I didn’t know you wanted to dissolve like that

I didn’t think you’d actually go through with it

I realize now that all you had to do was live

I know that if she got the chance she’d claim me as hers
