Черная тень

Укроет плащом.

Ниже, ниже облака —

Рока властная рука

Настигнет всех — не простит!

От страха сводит прогнивший мозг

Горит огнём, глумится бес.

И черный всадник, мрачный демон тьмы,

Взметнул свой карающий жезл.

Рычит тревожно

Дремучий лес, как дикий зверь.

Качаясь на стволах,

Шипит клубок голодных змей

Ниже, ниже облака.

Здесь

Хозяин гром — его не предугадать…

Рока властная рука

Настигнет всех —

И не убежать!

Дни наслаждений

И праздных слов

Пропали в бездне вод.

Из древних сказок,

Из страшных снов Мордор

Выходит в поход!

Карающий Рок!
