Ich hab in meinem Leben schon so viel gesehen.

Ich kenn die Sonnenseite,

musste auch im Regen stehen.

Ging durch manches Tal der Tränen zum Licht am Horizont

Und hoffte, dass der Blick dorthin sich lohnt.

Getragen von der Hoffnung und dem großen Traum,

Von Sehnsucht ferngesteuert

und weit weg von Zeit und Raum

Hab ich nie den Mut verloren, hab' manches Ziel erreicht.

Und weiß warum — es war nicht immer leicht,

So lang die Welt sich dreht.

Sie zeigte mir den Weg.

Ich habe an sie geglaubt und sie hat mich belohnt.

Heut' weiß ich wo Liebe wohnt,

Wo Liebe wohnt.

Sie wohnt in unserem Herzen und sie macht uns stark

Auch Schmerzen zu ertragen und ich hab mich oft gefragt,

Wenn es Liebe nicht mehr gäbe

und nur noch Hass und Neid,

Wäre die Welt dann nicht dem Untergang geweiht?

Doch ich weiß:
