Ik loop op de ruïneVan mijn gevoel voor jou

Wat nu alleen nog puin is

Was ooit een groot gebouw

En zelfs de fundamenten

Van wat er heeft gestaan

Zijn na wat mooie lentes

Al min of meer vergaan

Zo verloren we de kamers

Van ons eigen luchtkasteel

Zelf gesloopt met grote hamers

En nu is er niets meer heel

Is dit het huis waar we kusten

Waar we feesten en rusten

Is dit de plek waar we vreeën

En zoveel mooie dingen deden

Ik mis het trapje naar de sterren

En de grote open haard

Het huis van onze liefde

Is onbewoonbaar verklaard

What is now just rubble

Was once a big building

And even the foundations

From what has been

Are after what beautiful springs

Al more or more perished

So we lost the rooms

From our own castle in the air

Self-demolished with big hammers

And now thereis nothing left

Is this the house we kissed

Where we party and rest

Is this the place where we make love

And did so many beautiful things

I miss the stairs to the stars

And the big fireplace

The house of our love

Is declared uninhabitable
