Ein Traum erwacht der mich erfüllt

Und jedes Wort in Schweigen hüllt

Nicht weit von hier und doch so fern

Ist mir der Wahn ein Heimatstern

Mein krankes Fleisch dem Gott zum Gruß

Schlag Nägel mir durch Hand und Fuß

Und wenn vor Schmerz die Seele brennt

Ist mir die Nacht wie ein Geschenk

Ich gehe fort

Bis die Einsamkeit mich zu dir führt

Ich gehe fort

Bis ich all dein Leid in mir gespürt

Die Stille schreit nach Grausamkeit

Und opfert mich der Wirklichkeit

Und kalte Furcht das Herz bedrückt

Aus diesem Traum gibt’s kein zurück

In meinem Kopf zerfällt die Zeit

Und mit ihr stirbt die Menschlichkeit

Und wenn die Angst mich stumm gemacht

Ist mir der Wahn das Licht der Nacht
