Entre brumas e segredos escondidos

E descubro que o silêncio entre nós

São mil versos de mil cantos escondidos e sós

Porque não vejo no azul escuro da noite

Nas estrelas esse brilho que é o teu

E procuro a madrugada que me acoite

Num poema que não escrevo mas é meu

Olha o vento que se estende no caminho

E ensaia a tua dança de voar

És gaivota que só chega a fazer ninho

Quando o tempo te dá tempo para amar

Mas também se perde o tempo que se tem

P’ra gastar só quando chega a Primavera

Veste um fato de saudade amor e vem

Que é Inverno, mas eu estou à tua espera

Because I don't hear your voice in the air

Among mists and hidden secrets

And I discover that the silence between us

There are a thousand verses from a thousand hidden and lonely corners

Because I don't see in the dark blue of the night

In the stars that shine that is yours

And I look for the early morning that touches me

In a poem that I don't write but it's mine

Look at the wind that stretches along the path

And rehearse your fly dance

You are a seagull that only makes a nest

When time gives you time to love

But you also lose the time you have

To spend only when Spring arrives

Wears a longing suit, love and come

That it's winter, but I'm waiting for you
