Jij in je keukenschortje

Brengt koffiewater aan de kook

En uit de schoorsteen kringelt rook

Ik heb geen geld en geen juwelen

Voor 't meisje waar ik veel van hou

Geen woning om met jou te delen

Maar ik heb mooie luchtkastelen

Als jou dat soms te klein is

Niet chic genoeg en fijn is

Zit niet in de misere
