Wat lang verwacht werd, is gebeurd

De gulden heeft een veer gelaten

We moesten met de stroming mee

Van alle Europese staten

Mijn wasvrouw telde net de was

En knipte in de consternatie

De pijpen van mijn lingerie

Vanwege de devaluatie

Mijn hospita doet ook al mee

Ik woon op kamers moet u weten
