Одна луна, как верный страж,

Оберегала в парке нас.

В тени ветвей

Пел соловей,

И песнь лилась,

И ночь была ясней от блеска ясных глаз.

Я помню лунную рапсодию

И соловьиную мелодию.

Твой профиль тонкий, голос звонкий,

Твои мечты — но где же ты?

Звучи же, лунная рапсодия,

Твой голос слышу в каждой ноте я.

Твои улыбки — в звуках скрипки,

Поют альты — я слышу: ты.

Счастья я не ищу теперь иного.

Вечер мне повторить бы лунный снова.

Сыграй мне лунную рапсодию.

Я напою тебе мелодию.

Хочу, как прежде, жить в надежде,

Что будут петь нам соловьи.

Не знаю, где ты, и где твой дом,

И как найти тебя на шумном нашем шаре на земном.

Забыть о том, что, может быть,
