i came and visited you at work

i couldn’t help but imagine you without your shirt

and all i wanted was to hold your foot

but i couldn’t imagine how i ever could

then came the passing of that strange urge

but soon enough an even stranger urge emerged

wanted to return to that safe pod

where i believed in god

and the validity of all my wants

why do i always want to skip town?
