Du, im Boot und ich bin an Land

Wind treibt dich von mir fort.

Halte die Leine noch fest in der Hand

bald bist du an 'nem anderen Ort.

Unter den Füßen bewegt sich der Sand

du wendest den Blick von mir ab.

Noch schmerzt das Seil in meiner Hand,

doch du weißt, es gibt langsam nach.

Ein Nebelvorhang nimmt mir die Sicht,

meine Worte verhallen ganz sacht.

Um uns herum schwindet das Licht

ganz langsam umfängt uns die Nacht.

Der eine geht, der andere bleibt
