Keine Zeit - Karussell

Lange schon wohnt ein zweiter Mensch in mir,

und anders als ich ist sein Gesicht.

Und immer wieder verdrängt er mich

ganz und gar ähnelt er mir nicht.

Wenn er im Kopf zu mir spricht und den Gedanken bricht,

dann werd ich blockiert und ausgebremst

von meinem Zweitgesicht.

Wer kennt das nicht, dieses Gesicht

Nimmt uns das Licht, dieses Gesicht.

Du brauchst es nicht, du willst es nicht und trotzdem ist es da,

und immer wieder kommt es deinem Frieden viel zu nah.

Trübt die Entscheidung und den Will’n, der mal war so klar,

bringt Schatten auf die Seit, wo einst das Licht mal war.

Klar ist der Gedanke und das Herz sagt auch schon ja,

geformt ist die Entscheidung und der Wille ist auch da.

Schon fast getan fernab vom negativen Nein,

meldet sich ne Stimme und ein Zweiter kommt herein.

Zum Denken brauch ich kein vorzeitiges Nein,

doch selten wird bewusst, das ist des Zweifels Schein,

und dieser wird nie sein, lebt man im Kopf allein,

dann sage ich laut ja und es meint kein Zweiter nein.

Dieser Geist, der macht sich breit, erfüllt das ganze Haus,

er fliegt durch alle Zimmer und ich treibe ihn hinaus.

Diese Villa, die ist mein, ich bestimme, wer dort wohnt,

das ja bekommt den Kronsaal, damit es darin thront.

Die Pforte der Entscheidung ist die Tür zu meinem Sinn,

der Wächter dieses Hauses ich alleine bin.

Der Zutritt ihm verwehrt bleibt bis auf alle Zeit,

verbannt sei dieser Schatten ein Leben weit.

A second person has lived in me for a long time,

I don't need a premature no to think,

but seldom does it become clear, that is the appearance of doubt,

and this will never happen if you live alone in your head,

then I say yes out loud and nobody else says no.
