Сентябрь раздел яблони,

Зашелся дождем едким.

Простуженный день я бранил —

Не чувствовал рот метки.

Дорогу кромсал тропами,

В застолье водой грезил.

Цеплял облака стропами,

Крестился серпом лезвий.

Измену глотал хлопьями,

Грехи доверял лупам.

В бессилии тряс копьями,

Глаза закрывал трупам.

И липла молва стружками,

Слова рваных губ бог крал.

Глотавших меня кружками,

Последний поэт проклял.

Сентябрь раздел яблони,

Достатком забил ведра.

Когда в череп твой я проник —

Убит был рукой твердой.
